Love Catering Company Events
In ordering from our Love Catering Company you are entering into a contract.
A £50 booking deposit is required in order to confirm all Catering Events.
Please note all deposits are non-refundable for cancellations 28 days or less prior to the event.
Your booking will be confirmed once we have finalised your Event Booking Agenda and received your completed Booking Form and Deposit.
At certain times please note a minimum spend of £100 including VAT (£200 including VAT August/December) may be applicable. This will be confirmed on booking and will depend on where the event is being held.
For all evening events there is a minimum spend of £150 including VAT. (£200 including VAT August/December)
Should any member of your party have any special requirements - allergy, dietary or otherwise - please inform us at the time of booking.
Times and duration
Times of all events to be mutually agreed upon at booking and are subject to availability.
We would suggest the following duration as a guide - Breakfast receptions last 1 hour, Canapé events last 2 hours, Lunch events last 2 hours, Dinner events last 3 hours.
Any event that continues past midnight will incur a charge of £50 to cover charges.
All food requirements must an paid for 14 days prior to the event.
The remaining account must be paid in full on the day or the balance of the event will be taken from the credit card details 3 days after the final invoice has been submitted to the client.
If food requirement payment has not been received the event may be cancelled at the Director’s discretion.
Prices do not include napkins and disposable plates but are available.
Prices include setting up at discretion but do not include tablecloths, banqueting roll or waiting staff.
Prices do not include delivery.
For delivered! A delivery is charged at £12.50 including VAT for destinations within Glasgow city Borough.
For Event that use “chinaware and utensils” A collection of these items! Is charged at £12.50 including VAT for destinations within Glasgow city Borough..
For Events that foods are served china platters. Any platters damage or loss of missing will be charged at £cost price plus VAT each (please note they are very expensive Villeroy and Boch urban nature plates).
We will request a signature upon arrival that confirms the number of platters used and that the food is received in good and fresh condition - good enough to eat.
We can accept cash payment or account can be settled via a BACS transfer.
Details of our bank account are shown on each invoice.
Invoices are sent out at the end of each week by email.
Please note: We are a small business with a large overhead and cannot afford long settlement delays. If we have not received prompt payment we will ring you on or around the 7th/28th day to give you a polite reminder and we will send you a written statement of account. You must then settle any outstanding amounts within 10 days to avoid further action.
In the unlikely event that we have still not received payment we reserve the right to add statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate for each overdue day.
Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the event will be required to pay the confirmed food costs in full. Including VAT would be payable.
Final numbers must be confirmed no less than 7 days in advance. Please note we charge for final numbers even if there are cancellations on the day.
Arrival of the food
We use only high quality ingredients and all our food is either prepared and cooked on the day of delivery, or cooked on site.
Our self-service foods will arrive in a high-quality insulated box which will be Unpacked for you. He or she will also set up.
Foods will be served on Disposables Display Platters Great for Sandwiches, Finger Foods, Working Lunches, Buffets as well as Parties and Special Events.
If food cooked on site, it will be our responsibility to ensure the food is served at the correct temperature.
We can guarantee that the food for cold buffets will stay in a fresh condition for 3.1/2 hours from delivery provided it is kept out of direct sunlight and is not kept in an unnaturally warm location or close to a radiator.
We cannot guarantee the absence of nuts or other allergens in our food.
A 10% discretionary gratuity will be added to parties of 10 or more for events.
Flowers, music etc. can be arranged a 10% handling fee will be applied.
Additional staffing can be provided if required and may be charged.
